Beatles in the Park July 15th 2017
All music lovers take note...
The San Anselmo Arts Commission invites you come groove on down to Creek Park in San Anselmo for the Annual Beatles in the Park Tribute Concert.
The Beatles Tribute, which is the kick-off live music event of the summer in Ross Valley, is the major fundraiser for the San Anselmo Arts Commission. One of the many events that the commission funds is the Music in the Park free concert series which takes place in Creek Park every Sunday in August from 3pm to 6pm.
The Beatle’s Concert ongoing success can be attributed in large part to musical director Joe Bagale, who this year has amassed a number of Bay Areaand Los Angeles talents to re-create Paul, John, George and Ringo’s signature stylings. There will be a “Twist and Shout” special dance for the kids in the audience
A quote from Joe Bagale:
"I'm really looking forward to coming back for a 3rd year. This year will prove to be an even broader look at the fab four's catalog. With that in mind, I'm bringing in a few special guest singers from different bands in the Bay Area as well as Los Angeles, to help bring exciting interpretations of the incredible music we've all grown to love for the last 50 years. Also in addition to bringing in more vocalists, we'll also be adding a string section to the mix. 15 musicians, one night only, one amazing catalog of music, and it's coming to San Anselmo. To say that I'm excited for this year's show would be a huge understatement."
