 Get Involved in Art

The San Anselmo Arts Commission consists of artists, educators, business professionals and other volunteers who see art as a desirable and enriching aspect of the community. The Arts Commission welcomes your questions and suggestions regarding any of our events and programs. The public is welcome to attend our monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of  each month at 7:00 p.m. at Robson Herrington House.

 If you are interested in getting involved or in applying for a seat on the arts commission, you can obtain an application from Town Hall or by calling (415) 258-4600. 

Approval to serve as an arts commissioner is made by the San Anselmo Town Council.  

The San Anselmo Arts Commission sponsors events to bring artists and our local community together to enjoy and celebrate the arts in all forms.  Our popular programs include Music in the Park, our Annual Silent Art Auction and Fundraiser, Art in Public Places, and sponsorship of youth programs to foster and encourage the artistic talents of children in our community.  We are proud to be a part of such a richly talented community of artists, with visual artists, performers, and writers living amongst us and enriching our lives through thier unique talents.  

SAAC supports all arts disciplines including visual, performing, fine arts, creative writing, poetry, and interactive mixed media. We invite your participation in whatever form you have to offer.
